Give-a-Treat Food Drive

The Kindergarten classes are doing our first community service project of the year!  We are asking students to bring items for the Eagles Nest. The Eagles Nest helps provide all students (elementary, middle and high school) in our community with food, hygiene items, and clothing. Food and hygiene items are sent home on weekends with students in need, or available as needed throughout the week.  Items needed include:  fruit snacks, peanut butter and/or cheese crackers, any type of heat and eat meals (not soup), fruit, breakfast bars, applesauce, canned meat, razors, deodorant, mouthwash, combs, hair brushes, toothpaste, and tampons.

To make this can drive more fun, beginning in October, the elementary teacher with the most items collected will get a pie in the face at the spook Parade on Halloween!  Make sure to choose your favorite elementary teacher!

Our goal this year is 2,000 items!  If we make this goal, Mr. Adams will also get a pie in the face at the Spook Parade!

Each elementary teacher will have a box outside of their classroom to collect donations.
