Hello My Name Is...
I grew up in a small town, Seneca Ks, with a population of around 2,500. I graduated HS @ Nemaha Valley High were I played volleyball, basketball, softball and ran track. I still enjoy participating in all of those sports.
I attended Kansas State University and graduated with my bachelors in Education in 2009. This year will be my eighth year teaching: 3 yrs. in a 5th/6th combination room, 2 yrs. in 2nd grade and this will be my 3rd year in Kindergarten. I LOVE what I do!
This past summer was full of exciting milestones, my husband Joe and I were married in May on a cruise ship in the Caribbean, we found out that we are expecting our first child in January, and are loving all the firsts and new experiences we are encountering!
With all of this being said, I am a little OCD, I have already chosen my maternity leave substitute with great consideration of the children's greater need. I think that my organization and ability to plan ahead will be beneficial for everyone when January hits!
I can not wait to begin this year with your children and I look forward to helping them play, learn and grow together!
