The Fifth Grade class headed to Wellington, Kansas on Dec.12. The students worked really hard at the Challenger Center, conducting experiments, researching life on Mars, checking the vital signs of the crew that was arriving from Mars, and traveling in space. Of, course most of the trip was simulated but it sure felt real! We had several parents go and take part in the activities, Ms. Houdeshell, Mrs. Willis, Mrs. Hoffman, Mr. Roberts, Mr. Wampler, Mrs. Miller, & Mr. & Mrs. Foster (Bus driver). The group went next door and ate lunch at the “Big Cheese” pizza, and then headed back to school. It was a great morning!
