Udall Softball Girls Statebound

The softball girls have made it to state for the 6th year in a row. On Tuesday, the girls played Moundridge. Moundridge held the lead until the bottom of the 6th inning. Sydney Aldrich and Keely Smith made the 2 points to win the game. Udall, then, went to play Sterling. Chanea Sawyer threw 13 strikeouts with the help of Megan Taylor. The Girls won the championship game with the score 7-2. When they got done with regionals their record was 22-1.
We have four seniors that are leaving us this year. They are Sydney Aldrich, Keely Smith, Sarah Shields, and Caitlan Sweet.
The girls go to Emporia on Friday, May 23 and they play Kismet- SW Heights at 5:00 P.M.
