Mrs. Neal's 3rd Hour English Class

Hi, we are Mrs. Neal's 3rd hour, 6th grade English class. We are excited that we are now middle school students. We have many hopes for this year.
We hope that we get good grades throughout the school year. We also hope we can get new computers so they can help us get better grades. Making new friends in middle school is fun and exciting. Finals and Saturday school are both things we hope we don't get. We have lots of hopes, but we are also nervous about many things.
Now, that we are in middle school, we are nervous about our tests, homework, and turning our assignments in on time. We are worried about getting to our classes on time. Going to the principle's office is another thing that makes us nervous. We are also worried that bad weather will keep us from having school and sports practices. The start of the sports season is very nerve-wracking. Sometimes we are nervous, but we are also excited about school.
We are excited about the fact that we are now in middle school. One great part of being in middle school is that we have our own lockers. Having a new teacher for each subject is also exciting. We are excited about all the parties and dances we will have this year. We had a swimming party on the first Friday of school, and we all had a blast! Our rotation classes are exciting because we get to change every three months. The most exciting part about lunch is that we can eat at ala carte every day. Even though we get to eat ala carte, we wish our lunch period was longer.
Because we are hungry before lunch, we wish that we could have snacks in class. A swimming pool in the school would be great because they would help us relax. We wish that our classes were shorter and easier so we would have more time to swim in the pool.
Overall, we are happy to be in middle school. Middle school is awesome and we have cool teachers!
