By Wyatt Williams
October 06, 2008
The Udall Eagles improved to 4-1 on the season with an impressive 48-0 victory over the Oxford Wildcats. The Eagles put together their most impressive game of the season, as they dominated in all three phases of the game: offense, defense, and special teams. The Eagle defense, led by Eli Williams, recovered five Wildcat fumbles during the game, as well as getting an interception from Taylor Camp. The dominate performance by the defense, put the offense in great field position all night, and the offense was able to roll Oxford for 48 points in the first half. Taylor Camp was responsible for two Eagle touchdowns, as he scored on a 3-yard run in the first quarter, while also scoring on a 15-yard pass reception from Skylor Kistler in the first quarter as well. Kistler had a 55-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, and completed three touchdown passes on the night, the 15 yard pass to Camp, a 51-yard pass to Colton Schoonover, and a 14-yard pass to Dylan Smith. Michael Carselowey also got into the scoring action, as he had two rushing touchdowns on the night, from three and twenty-two yards respectively. Kistler was the leading rusher for the game with 75-yards rushing, while also recording another 80-yards passing during the game.
The Eagles will continue their march to the playoffs next Friday night, as they will look to improve to 5-1 on the season with a tough game against the Flint Hills Mustangs. The game will also be the Homecoming game for the season, and we hope to see everybody out at the game to help cheer the Eagles on to a victory!
