FFA Bake Off This Saturday!
The Udall FFA chapter is hosting a bake off on Saturday, March 11th. All proceeds will benefit Mrs. Slack, the Udall Middle/High School FACS teacher, to help with medical expenses her family has incurred. The bake off will be at the Udall Community Building from 3:00 - 5:00. All baked goods must be in place by 2:45. Prizes will be awarded for the best baked items. There will also be items raffled. The entry fee is $5 per baked good, and everyone can "judge" all items for a $10 donation. Come support one of our own teachers while trying amazing baked goods from the community! UHS Forensics Meet a Success!
Many thanks to our wonderful community for supporting our local Forensics tournament this past Saturday, March 4th. We couldn't have been so successful without the participation of our wonderful judges. Mrs. Davidson is also very proud of the Udall Eagles 4N6 squad for their great work on Saturday. Awesome job, folks!! I am very proud of you. Just remember that we host Udall Eagles Forensics Invitational the first Saturday of March each year.
This spring the Udall drama department will present a mystery written by Thomas Hischak, by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc.
Udall Drama Presents "Murder In Bloom"
What could be more harmless than a ladies’ garden club in a small English village? That’s what they thought in sleepy, uneventful St. Basil-on-Green, until one day the richest lady in town is mysteriously murdered during a club meeting! As the police come onto the scene, we realize that this is more than a mere garden club and that more is at stake than begonias. And who among these harmless ladies would be capable of murder? The gripping ending reveals all, with plenty of chills, laughs, and poignant moments throughout the production.
Enjoy this new mystery on Friday, 17 March 2017, at 7 pm, or on Saturday, 18 March, at 7 pm, in our brand new auditorium!!
Admission for the play is at the door and is as follows: Adults=$5, students=$3, and no charge for children under 5 (unless they plan to use a seat). Refreshments will be served for an extra fee, compliments of Marsha Slack and the FCCLA.
We look forward to seeing you there!!
