USD 463 Conduct Emergency Evacuation Training
Posted Date: 08/14/26 (04:07 PM)
On Monday afternoon, Cowley County Emergency Management Services met with the USD 463 staff to conduct a hands-on "Safe Passage" Emergency Preparedness Tabletop exercise. During the session, our team reviewed crisis management protocols and worked through a simulated wildfire scenario, focusing heavily on emergency evacuation procedures and student-family reunification planning. Collaborative training like this ensures our staff is prepared to act quickly and decisively to keep our students and schools safe in any situation. A big thank you to Cowley County Emergency Management (including Alysse Davidson, Doug Allison, and Jason Kazban) for their partnership and dedication to our community's safety! #EagleStrong!
