The 5th graders have worked incredibly hard on their volume zoo projects, demonstrating creativity, problem-solving, and a strong understanding of mathematical concepts. Through this hands-on project, students applied their knowledge of volume to design and construct unique zoo exhibits while thinking critically about dimensions, space, and organization
Students also had the opportunity to proudly present their projects to not only their families but to elementary, middle, and high school students, showcasing not only their mathematical learning but also their communication and presentation skills. They did an outstanding job explaining their thinking, answering questions, and sharing the hard work and dedication they put into each project. This experience allowed them to serve as leaders and role models for younger students while gaining confidence in presenting to a variety of audiences.

Congratulations to Seniors Jaely Harness and Gabe Richards for being named the Udall High School Class of 2026 KSHSAA Citizenship Award honorees. The KSHSAA Citizenship Award is an annual recognition presented by the Kansas State High School Activities Association to one girl and one boy from the graduating class who demonstrates exceptional respect, responsibility, and service to their school and community.
