That all states have laws requiring motorists to stop for a stopped school bus with its red lights flashing and stop signal arm deployed. Despite these advancements, school buses are still illegally passed at an alarmingly high rate.
Keep students safe and stop when the red stop sign is out and lights are flashing!

Millions of children across the nation ride on a school bus every day which is why school bus safety is important in every community. Our number one priority is keeping your student safe.
Please remind your bus riding student to . . .
* Wait until the bus comes to a compete stop before attempting to exit.
* Stand six feet (three giant steps) away from the curb while waiting for the bus.
* Face forward when sitting in your seat.
* Listen to the bus driver.
