Udall alum Nick Bowman spoke with juniors and seniors today about the various opportunities PrairieLand Partners John Deere has available for students in our area. The opportunities range from summer jobs to associate's degree programs that come with several benefits.

Two paintings by USD 463 art teacher, Mrs. Noreen Schroder, are on display at the Riney Fine Arts Gallery at Friends University representing Udall USD 463 in a Kansas Art Teacher show. The exhibit is on display through May. Mrs. Schroder's work is inspired by the Bokeh effect which is the blurring and diffusing of objects and light in the background of photograph and film.

Congratulations to 6th grader Hadley Lackey, and junior Brittany McDaniel, for being selected Students of the Month for March! Staff had the following to say about each one...
"Hadley has been a fantastic addition to our student body, bringing kindness, respect, and a positive attitude to every interaction. She is a hardworking and dependable student who avoids drama and leads by example. Outside of school, Hadley is actively involved in 4-H, showing cattle, and participating in livestock judging. Last fall, Hadley was also a member of the volleyball team. She also gives her time to school and community activities, demonstrating her dedication and willingness to help others. Hadley's contributions and involvement make her an excellent candidate for Student of the Month."
"Brittany is an extremely hard-working student. As a junior, she has a full high school class schedule and has also earned 12 college credits so far. She is active in FBLA and holds the office of Student Council Representative and has competed at the District, State, and National Levels representing Udall High School. She is actively involved in Student Council and has been selected as a National Honor Society member. Through her Culinary class, Brittany is also instrumental in helping to prepare quality goods for the Eagle Mercantile. On top of all of this, she holds an outside job where she works 16-20 every week. Brittany is an exceptionally hard worker who is determined to get things done!"
