On Oct. 10th the Udall FFA held the event Carve it Up. This halloween themed night included a snack buffet, murder mystery and pumpkin carving.
Upon arrival students piled there plates and formed teams to solve the Mile High Murder of Marissa Hightower. Ms. Hightower was soon to partake in a large inheritance but was suddenly found dead on a plane flight to London. To solve the murder students had to use team work, deductive reasoning, critical thinking skills, analyze data, confirm alibis to determine a mean and motive to solve the case.
The nigh ended with our members showcasing their unique talents carving pumpkins. Members carved bats, ghosts, classic jack-o-lantern faces and one group even carved self portraits.

BOE Meeting Change: The October BOE meeting scheduled on Monday, October 14, 2024 has been rescheduled to Monday, October 21, 2024, starting at 6:00 p.m. in the Udall District Office, 303 S. Seymour, Udall, Kansas 67146.
Here are the three students and their graphite pencil drawings that are being entered into the McPherson College Art Competition. They will be display at the gallery in Friendship Hall October 28th through November 14th.

Udall seniors were joined by Stephanie Miller from Cowley College for their Apply Free event this morning. She was able to assist them with college and trade school applications anywhere in the state of Kansas, since this is one of the days application fees are being waived, so students can apply for free.
Udall middle and high school students that are members of Udall 4H club presenting a 4H showcase of their projects to elementary students prior to school starting on Wednesday October 9, 2024. National 4-H week this week, October 6th-12th.
