Students from Mr. Sobba's agriculture class visited our 4th graders to teach a soils mini lesson to the students on the different layers in a soil profile. Students then made a dirt and worms representing the layers that they learned about. #EagleStrong!

The next Clothes Closet open house will be this Saturday, February 7th from 9:30 - 3:00 in the little white building at the south end of the Rose Hill Christian Church parking lot. This offering of FREE clothing and shoes is only for those in financial need who are part of the Rose Hill, Douglass and Udall school district areas. If you are ill please do not come out of respect for others. If you are coming please bring bags with you—trash bags work very well. We have winter clothing items and shoes as well as the usual year round items for all ages.

We are able to offer this service because of the generous donations of CLEAN, GENTLY USED, SMOKE FREE AND ANIMAL HAIR FREE CLOTHING AND SHOES. We cannot take any other types of items because we do not have the space. If you have any questions or have items to donate please call me at 316-258-0817. Please do not just drop off items outside our doors where they will draw moisture or insects will get in them. I live close enough that I can arrange convenient time to meet at the clothes closet location. Thanks and hope to see you there so we can help.

Mr. Hinsley's PE class learned about Nitroball this week. Nitroball is a fast, fun game that combines pickleball and volleyball. It’s played on a pickleball court with a regulation size volleyball and pickleball net. The serve is underhand, the ball must bounce before every hit, and teams get up to three hits to send it over the net. Champions as they appear: First hour freshmen Natalie Perkins and Savanna Lawrence. Third hour 7th grade Landon Braddy, Cayden McDade, and Landry Robinson. Fourth hour freshmen Ryan Sade.

UHS travels to West Elk today. Games start at 4:30 PM. There will be NO JV Girls game.
