UHS Culinary Essentials students in Mrs. Dickson's 2nd and 5th Hour classes made and enjoyed a Thanksgiving celebration on Friday before break. Students made a single recipe of classic dishes that are considered essential for a traditional Thanksgiving meal. The students worked hard and were able to enjoy their yummy successes!

Our Culinary-Nutrition afternoon class visited our afternoon Preschool class for fun lesson. During the visit, our Culinary-Nutrition/Preschool snack pals made "turkey feathers" to add to a special turkey. Each "feather" was a fruit and cheese skewer that each preschool student made with their high school buddy. All of the students' skewers were then added to the Turkey body for a whole group picture. Both the preschoolers and their high schoolers buddy then enjoyed eating their snacks together.

Our 6th graders with Mrs. Nilles paired up with Mr Welch’s 8th grade class for Science. Mr Welch and the 8th graders walked the 6th graders through a measurement lab in which they were able to find the volume, mass and density of each cube. The 6th graders are excited to see what our next Wednesday science lab will bring! #EagleStrong!
It's Game Day! Tonight middle school will have their first HOME game! Come on out and watch the eagles play. Games start at 4:00 pm.
