Mrs. Leiblie's Marketing class studied visual merchandising and displays recently. They then had to create a store display in a shoebox for a retail store. There was a shoe store, furniture store, and a flower shop!
These students were chosen for "Student of the Month" for showing compassion towards their fellow students.

Our USD 463 Site Council met yesterday for the spring meeting. They toured several elementary classrooms including our four-year old preschool class, our 3rd grade class, and our 5th grade band class. The Site Council also met with our District Leadership Team (DLT) to learn more about our KESA 2.0 Action Plan (our district's required school improvement process). Thank you to each of our Site Council members for spending the afternoon with us yesterday in support of our students and staff.

Our UHS FFFA chapter came to school early this morning to make and serve a staff breakfast during our Wednesday late-start for National FFA Week. A special shout out to our FFA advisor, Mr. Aaron Sobba, who helps sponsor this annual event. and to the FFA chapter members who came early to scramble the eggs, fry the bacon and sausage, and flip the pancakes.
