Today our FFA students will travel to Little River High School for State Land Judging. FFA state land judging is a competition that helps students learn about soil science, land evaluation, and soil management. The purpose of the competition is to: Teach students about soil properties and how they affect land use and management Help students understand how soil responds to different management practices Help students understand how soil properties affect crop growth and homesite dwellings Help students develop skills in determining soil characteristics and land capability classes . #EagleStrong
